David Hiel

Throughout University and College Dave spent his summer days landscaping in the Ottawa area. He realized that his passion for landscaping would soon become a full time career. Having spent 29 years in the industry he has amassed a huge knowledge base which is reflected in his design technique. He took some time out to study fine furniture making which draws from his other passion working with wood.

Dave's wife Shannon, daughter Milla, and dogs are an essential part of his life. With the support of his family Dave decided to start Green Roots Landscaping Inc with Ryan. Finding a likeminded business partner who shares the same meticulous attention to detail and drive has created a wonderful work dynamic.
