Landscape Construction Foreman Requirements, Skills & Qualities

• Motivated, Positive Attitude, Team-Player

• Punctual, Hard-Working, Task Oriented

• Leadership, Organization, Complete Site Management

• Prioritize Safety and Efficiency

• Driving, Towing & Hauling Materials

• Ability to read and understand site plans & drawings

• Able to communicate effectively and politely with clients, co-workers and management

• Understand and execute modern building practices

• Understand applicable mathematics, grading, elevations

• Familiarity with hardscape manufacturers (Techo-Bloc, Permacon, Unilock, Banas etc.)

• Wet and dry laid masonry; pool coping (natural and man-made)

• Basic carpentry and woodworking skills and best practices

• Machine and Equipment Experience (Excavator, Skidsteer, Quick-cut etc.)

• Willing and able to work ~10 hr days

• Ability to lift 50lbs +

• Steel Toe Work Boots

• Full G-Class Licence (Required)

• 3+ years Landscape Construction Experience (Required)

Formal Landscape/Construction education or training a major asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift (no less than 50hrs per week)

• Monday to Friday
