Landscape Construction Foreman Requirements, Skills & Qualities
Motivated, Positive Attitude, Team-Player
Punctual, Hard-Working, Task Oriented
Leadership, Organization, Complete Site Management
Prioritize Safety and Efficiency
Driving, Towing & Hauling Materials
Ability to read and understand site plans & drawings
Able to communicate effectively and politely with clients, co-workers and management
Understand and execute modern building practices
Understand applicable mathematics, grading, elevations
Familiarity with hardscape manufacturers (Techo-Bloc, Permacon, Unilock, Banas etc.)
Wet and dry laid masonry; pool coping (natural and man-made)
Basic carpentry and woodworking skills and best practices
Machine and Equipment Experience (Excavator, Skidsteer, Quick-cut etc.)
Willing and able to work ~10 hr days
Ability to lift 50lbs +
Full G-Class Licence (Required)
4+ years Landscape Construction Experience (Required)
Formal Landscape/Construction education or training a major asset
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Salary: $23.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (~50hrs weekly)
